Finding FUN, good food, friends, and foolishness

For me, the quarantine began on March 13. I’ve only darted outside three times for groceries. I’m learning to live as an introvert…VERY CHALLENGING for me, FYI.

STAY WELL. STAY INSIDE. STAY HEALTHY.

Here’s my list of Fs for this life event. I share to share:

  • FUN: watching old TV shows and movies that I missed in the past twenty years.
  • Good food: I’ve collected and received recipes from the internet and culinary goddess friends that I’ve most recently prepared for our family. I’m no Ina Garten, but everyone is eating and I’m having a good time preparing.
  • Friends: I’ve reached out to friends via the regular phone and video calls. It makes my 💜 sing to see my friends’ faces and hear their voices. I don’t feel as alone or isolated. Texting and social media messaging have also been quite wonderful, receiving and initiating.
  • Foolishness: Yesterday I took on a 2-week ab challenge. I will follow a millennial for ten minutes each morning on a video guiding us (Tara too) through each exercise. I laugh, I crunch, I whimper. Dance party for two is up next.

Find good in these days. Do things you have ‘meant to do’ since you have time. It’s our choice: choose to be happy. I am.

Aloha🌺,
