Jay Leno: the man, the legend, the brilliant story teller

According to his wiki page: James Douglas Muir Leno is an American comedian, actor, writer, producer, and television host. After doing stand-up comedy for years, he became the host of NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2009. Beginning in September 2009, Leno started a primetime talk show, titled The Jay Leno Show, which aired weeknights at 10:00pm ET, also on NBC.

Then came Jay Leno’s Garage: www.youtube.com/user/JayLenosGarage A wildly successful show that looks into his personal eco-friendly garage filled with cars and motorcycles and him driving and tinkering with them. It’s a show on YouTube which I subscribe to because I love classic cars.

He’s been married to his wife since 1980. He loves her and does not make jokes about her, but does tell stories about her.

He is intelligent, brilliantly funny, polite, clever, and kind.

I recommend a good seat if he’s ever in your neighborhood. When he immitates his Scottish mom, he lowers his voice a bit and it’s hilarious.

That was my Saturday night outing last night. I haven’t laughed that hard, or long, or loudly in quite a while. Laughter is good food. I learned that life is always entertaining with proper delivery and thoughtfulness.

Go out and laugh today. And, if you can, go see Jay Leno live. You’ll be glad you did.

Aloha🌺,

Denise
