Of this, I know for sure

Today, 11 November, we honor and offer gratitude and thanks to ALL who serve, have served and will serve in the armed forces, and their families for their sacrifices. This time-honored tradition of thanking veterans began as a commemoration of World War I, that 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 when the guns were silenced and the Armistice was called and peace came at last. The honorable day is in the USA and UK. Below is a link to the history of this day:

If only there were no more wars.

My dad was drafted out of college and proudly served in the US Army in Korea. I am grateful for his service. He taught me loyalty, bravery, and honor.

Thank you, Veterans. Of this, I know for sure: I am grateful for your service.
