Texas’ Independence Day

Yesterday, March 2, 2021, marked the 185th ‘birthday’ of the great state of Texas.

Texas Independence Day is the celebration of the adoption of the Texas Declaration of Independence on March 2, 1836. With this document signed by 59 delegates, settlers in Mexican Texas officially declared independence from Mexico and created the Republic of Texas. Wikipedia
Here’s how I celebrated:
Under the clear blue skies, I tasted some Texas whiskey, (https://www.bendtdistillingco.com), listened to a Texas band play fabulous music (my HH and I danced too!), ate a $1 cheeseburger, visited with my HH and our friend, and posed for media pics with these nice photographers. Everyone celebrated!
I enjoyed watching the photography action of Kathy Tran & her partner. www.KATHY-TRAN.com
Stay well. Stay positive. Have FUN every day!

Denise
