Reflection: I am very blessed. I have a great family, wonderful friends and an amazing, generous husband (of 31 years). I live in the city of an interesting and rapidly changing and growing country. Life is really good. Then, there’s the not so good parts. I won’t write about that, because it will give those parts power, and I choose otherwise.
I choose happy. I choose to look on the positive side, the bright side, the silver-lining sides. That’s where the power is.
I’ve recently been blessed with the opportunity to go on a girl’s trip and we leave in the morning. I am beyond excited. I awoke at 2:15am wide-eyed with anticipation and glee. We don’t leave for 24+ more hours. The power of living into the future creates excitement and gratitude.
