I write a monthly article on happiness for a publication here in Abu Dhabi. I enjoy the research and the writing, but mostly the personal distribution of the magazine. I get such a kick out of handing it to someone, pointing them to the photo of me above the article, then to my smiley face, and giving them the magazine. The return smile is 100%. It’s free advertising for happiness.

I also observe people doing life everywhere I go: malls, buses, restaurants, movie theaters and on the lovely city streets. The hustle-bustle of the streets after dark revs me up and gives me joy.
Find the good and happy in everything: make friends in line, meet new people from mutual friends (we did that just last week!), remember the 10′-5′ rule.
