Getting to Dubai via the bus is easy, inexpensive, hassle-free and FUN!
We spent our first day enjoying Atlantis, the Palm in the water mostly: dolphin swimming, water slides, lazy river and raft rides by day and shopping at the Global Village at night (they are only open a few months / year and from 4:30 pm – 12 midnight).
The Media Rotana Hotel, was an outstanding 5-star place for fun-makers, for sure!
For our second day, we took the metro as our first transport from the hotel to the Mall of the Emirates, to grab a quick brekky. Then, a nice, private taxi took us to the Dragon Mart in style. We shopped, along with our friend & neighbor Michelle, until it was time to drive back to Abu Dhabi in time to make dinner. Dragon Mart is an indoor shopping mall with furniture, electronics, clothes, home goods, restaurant and retail supplies and a food court. There’s something for everyone!
For a quick trip to discover new things about our neighbor Emirate, Dubai is a fun, lively and close place to relax and renew.
