Ghee is a class of clarified butter that originated in India and is commonly used in South Asian cuisine and ritual. The word ghee comes from Sanskrit: घृत and has several names around the world.

Ghee is wonderful to cook with and is easily stored in the fridge. I highly recommend it and I’m so happy I learned about it.
