In my gym neighborhood, a huge library just ‘re-opened’ after a lengthy renovation. I saw the NOW OPEN sign billowing in the gusty wind, so I made a classic U-turn and motored in.
It’s clean, bright and choc-full of books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, computers, copy machines (😳) and people! I grabbed some books, started reading then applied for a library card. Since I live in a different county, the librarian said I can only have the card for one year, rather than two years. haha.
Taking my new entertainment home, I made myself a cuppa hot tea, lit a candle and grabbed my blanket (my first purchase last year when I moved here) and cozied up in the corner of our sofa to read until dinner time. Ahhhhhh
I think I’ll be okay during winter.
