Driving around the island of Abu Dhabi, I saw buildings, people, parks and restaurants with different eyes. I was in the front seat (different from when I’m a taxi or bus passenger); and I was looking more intently at the neighborhoods.
The huge, classy glass building seem to reach for the sky. There are parks in most neighborhoods filled with laughing kids, happy couples and dancing fountains of water.
At the end of our “tour,” we happily ended up at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, Hanoi, for spring rolls and vegetarian pho with rice noodles.
Have you really noticed your city? Look at the city with new eyes and you may discover new things!
