Last night we went to our neighbors’ holiday party…let’s just say I practiced my French and I need more practice!! Welcomed into the sparkly room with cheer by our generous hosts, seasonal lighting and smiles by their beautiful children, I knew it would be a great night. I was right: the food, the music and new friends were perfect! Ooo la la!
Chatting with people from all parts of France and other expats to France was interesting and inspiring. I love finding out why people move and how they find the world. Note: I have found expats are very curious and adventurous people. The lovely woman I spoke with, Angela, painted clear stories in my head about the North part of France, her home country of Canada, and her ancestors’ countries in Asia so vividly that I have changed up my vision board to include all those places!
Making new friends is always in season. Since ’tis the season now, go make more friends!! Ho ho ho
