Camel races are another FUN outing here in the UAE. There are races all over this region, but I’ve only attended the one in Abu Dhabi. The camel tracks here in Abu Dhabi share the real estate with bike tracks and trekking sand dunes, so there is action year round. The camel races begin at 7:30am and again at 2:30pm. Racing occurs all year but the big season October through April.
My friends, Tara and I went out at 7:30am to see the last races of this season. It was a beautiful morning and the camels didn’t disappoint.
