Mark and I strolled down the Corniche after our dinner last night. Here are the three (3) great things I had to share:
- Ice cream!!! Cold Stone “Coffee Lovers” in a cup! Say no more.
- Families… There are so many families out and about. So many people riding those battery-charged wheels (like a Segway without the handlebars). Kids as young as five were spinning around, stopping, starting, gliding around and having a blast. Moms and Dads walking with kids, carrying kids, biking with kids and ice-creaming with kids!! Roller skaters, tricycles, walkers and runners filled the paths parallel to the beach.
- Colorfully lit buildings..The UAE celebrated Flag Day on 3 November and is preparing for the upcoming National Day celebration in December. As a spirited country, the buildings are lit up with colorful lights and some even have patterns flashing atop them. It’s beautiful!
