Today it rained for the first time since we moved here in A.D. It really sprinkled, but everyone seemed happy and the taxi drivers used their windshield wipers! It’s great for the grassy areas, the trees, and the drought.
Tara worked her first three-hours today: community service hours are required for her school, so she worked the snack shack at her school. She learned to scoop hot cheese for nachos, count change in dirhams (the money is different sizes and colors), say “hi” to all the kids who are new to her. I was right beside her and I must say, she did very well. She’s well on her way!
We’re doing well and having fun everyday!
