I love being a mom and experiencing proud and happy moments. One more proud mom moment happened yesterday afternoon…my youngest daughter texted me as she was walking home (as she does daily), but then followed that text with another one:
“I got into LBCC”
YES, she is accepted to Long Beach City College for the Fall!!! Hooray! Now her college plans have begun and my nest is all aflutter. Only formalities remain, paperwork, mostly.
I know my friends in SoCal will “watch out” for her; she will be safe and happy; her dreams will come to fruition; she is growing up and flying out.
