Our eldest daughter is on her way back to college. Her 19-day visit was filled with laughter, great food, fun adventures, lively photographs and lots of family hugs and love.
Our “job” is give our kids roots and wings. I’m grateful that my home can become the destination for Winter and Summer breaks. I guess if I continue to plan outings and meals, I’ll see my daughters regularly as they grow up.
Seeing the other college students at the airport and my friends’ Facebook posts about the quiet apartments, I know I’m not alone: Winter Break is officially over.
