After a wonderful Wednesday, I am experiencing a thankful Thursday. From 10:00 am until 6:30 pm yesterday, along with her caregiver Jen, I cleaned up some of my Mom’s papers on her desk. We organized, merged, purged, deleted, and celebrated. I recorded some more of her historical stories as we stopped long enough to eat lunch together.
I know I’m lucky to have my Mom in my life. I’m grateful for her and thankful I can see her more often now. 😷
I’m present to moments with her, the memories she shared, and the new ones we’re creating.
Today I will reflect on those hours in her office.
I had FUN with her and Jen.
Love means mixing in the hard stuff with the FUN stuff.
