Another “FUN FIND”

Over the years, I’ve found some amazingly FUN things to do…whether it’s in my current city or surrounding areas. This week, I found another FUN FIND: jigsaw puzzles. Yes, you read correctly. I’ve never done a puzzle…until now. And, it’s something to do at home, with my HH.* He and I bought one to ‘try’ and we’re a bit hooked!

It’s a 300-piece puzzle with an intricate, busy, colorful design. It’s fascinating how the manufacturer cuts the pieces so the appearance of the portion we seek isn’t in plain sight. I think 300 pieces is crazy for a first-timer, but Mark doesn’t. We’re each working on sections separately, then we link them together. I’m not sure if there are any rules, suggested orders, or hints for completion, but I’m having FUN doing it this way. Any suggestions are welcome.

We’re making steady progress: he even said, “It’s great fun.” We work on it in the evenings, after his work day, until it’s too dark. That’s our new evening FUN. After completion, we’ll admire it, celebrate our accomplishment, break it up, and recycle the puzzle.

Hunting for FUN is a happy adventure. Sharing that FUN is the object of the game.

Denise
