💥UPDATE 💥 Another important NDB

Today is another exploring day… an NDB.

I experienced a true military funeral at a National cemetery. Upon entering the cemetery, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude and calm come over me. The service began exactly on time, under a beautiful canopy of white clouds and bright sunshine, proceeded exactly as explained to me prior to arriving and honored a man who was a military doctor, a private practice doctor, a husband, father of two, grandfather to 15 kids, and great-grandfather to ten kids. To me, he was my friend’s dad.

Military funeral honors may include the firing of three rifle volleys over the grave during interment.
Whenever a service member is buried with military honors anywhere in the United States, the ceremony concludes with the sounding of Taps on a trumpet or bugle.
