Back from being a wayfarer

The big trip of 2020 finally happened: last week!!

Yes, I traveled, learned, explored, and came back inspired and tickled purple (pink, no, thank you.)  We traveled on the Danube River. The highlights of the week:

  1. Quality time with my husband
  2. Biking in Hungary and Austria
  3. Making new friends (so many we all didn’t fit at one table for dinner)
  4. Reunioning with a friend
  5. Meeting the Captain ON the bridge

 

Today, I traveled to Ft. Worth, a neighboring city, for a visit with daughter #2 and explore the Ft. Worth Stockyards.

Highlights:

  1. We saw the Longhorn cattle drive
  2. We had a guided tour of the Stockyards and its rich history
  3. We went to see Chris Young’s tour bus (he’s here on a tour) and met his fabulous security guard
This is Fred. Chris Young’s security guard. He’s driven, charming, and an all-around great guy.

 

Whilst we were there, we saw daughter #2’s apartment. She’s growing up and adulting very well.

Overall, a great Saturday.
