In the twenty-four hours we all have, I choose to find FUN in as many of those hours as I’m awake. I scour social media feeds, local event pages, and signs posted along fences to plan for my daily activities.
Well, today I did another NDB: I checked out the ISI World Recreational Team Championship ice skating competition. The program book, with a price tag of $10, is a significant tome of names, times, and rink assignments. After chatting with one competitor and one helpful skater-Mom, I discovered that the skater I wanted to see doesn’t skate until after this blog post publishes. No worries: Highlights forthcoming.
This outing, turned two-day event, promises chilly, creative, compassionate, and classmate-appreciating attention.
