Three more days until my nest is full

Three more days until our eldest daughter comes to town for the holidays! She’s never been here so we’re planning many outings with her: The Gateway Arch, the new St. Louis Aquarium & Ferris Wheel, Forest Park and museums, and other historic places in St. Louis and St.Charles.

I’ve cleaned our apartment, bought her gifts, made some plans, bought some tickets, and scouted out vegetarian restaurants.

For those of us who don’t see our kids very often, you’ll understand. For those of you who get to see your kids all the time, enjoy how fortunate you are. We grow them up to be fabulous adults and want to be with them frequently… these times are precious.

The best gift around Chanukah and Christmas time is the presence of family and friends wrapped in love.

This Empty Nester Mom is over the moon excited to have the nest FULL! Bring on the FUN!!!
