The funny thing about grocery stores: there are so many items I’ve never seen before or heard of. My HH (handsome husband) has. Why? Because he goes up and down every aisle, looking up and down every shelf, in every cooler, and at every ‘bargain bin.’
Right now, all I’m thinking about is launching my first book. The ebook is available for pre-order now, and the paperback is set to release on 2/2 at 12:00 AM, GMT. I’m sharing it on my socials and creating new excitement for its launch.
Food? I’m not thinking about food. I’m thinking about books. I keep waking up well before sunrise, thinking.
Here is the other funny part: he has been cooking, freezing, creating, and exploring lately. Our dinner plates have never seen so many original creations: pulled pork on a salad, Beth’s Mississippi Pot Roast on a salad, taco salad, steak on salad, and his famous croque-madame with a side salad. Think lasagne: he made a coconut/caramel-filled white chocolate bar. Yes, he made the caramel from an extra can of sweetened condensed milk.
See, he’s a genius!! I wrote some more stories about him in my book.
I haven’t been outside exploring lately due to the cold weather. I have walked with him patiently inside Kroger, WinCo, and Walmart. I try to find FUN in all of it. I love being with him. I love it when he cooks.
