Gettin’ ready for the July 4th hoopla. I wonder what the neighborhood of Lowest Greenville does. Since I’ve experienced fireworks from rooftops, boats, beaches, and parks, I think I’ll hide and wait. I’m making no plans.
As for the nomad adventure, here’s the latest update.
Mark packed ALL his clothes into two backpack suitcases. My, oh my!!!
I have rolled all my clothes and am prepared to use the compression bags, but I still have some clothes on the chopping block. That means, they may be tossed in the donate bin…. I think I still have too much. Stay tuned.
Here are some life lessons from the past few hours: we prefer a one bedroom with one and a half baths OR a two bedroom, two bath accommodation. We also enjoy on-site parking, an ice machine or good ice trays, a great shower with complete drainage, close proximity to bus stops, train stations, restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. This place we are in stands at 95%, as it only has one bathroom. I chose it so I’m not complaining at all; only making mental and shareable notes.
We did get to take a two and a half mile walk this morning, so that was awesome. Our routine was interrupted by our move out of our downtown apt. and the 100°F heat in the afternoons. We are returning to a routine, only to upend it in a week and a half. Change is FUN and I’m all in!!
Aloha,
Denise
