Tara is gone. She left at 2am for the first installment of her “flying the nest” journey. She’s going to visit friends before continuing to her new college town.
I’m happy to report no tears at the airport (a NDB). She was happy and practically skipped through passport control. She’s ready. It’s time.
I am most grateful for my friends who have sprinkled their support, advice and lovely comments on me, and to the blogs I’ve read in recent months to prepare for this phase.
Two and a half years ago Tara moved here from France; and now she will repatriate to North America. I am a proud momma.
