Good morning, gratitude Saturday.
I’m grateful for:
- My wonderful, amazing, hard-working, generous husband. He grounds me. He inspires me. He coaches me. He’s my rock. I thank God he chose me.
- Sunshine coming in our windows. I look out the window at the few cars, unlimited busses, DART trains, and a few walkers, and I smile at the bright and blue sky, yet I feel frustrated I cannot go out there. I’m staying in and staying safe. I am grateful, nonetheless.
- Our daughters are safe and healthy.
- Social media. I love that I can ‘connect’ with friends all over the globe via Facebook and FaceTime. What a gift! Thank you, Mark Zuckerberg and Roberto Garcia.
- I’m grateful for the trash collectors and foodservice teams in all the medical facilities, as well as the medical professionals.
As an extrovert, I find this “stay home” demand challenging at best, necessary at worst. I know what I have to do. I don’t think I’m doing it with grace and ease every day, yet I surely have that intention.
What three things are you grateful for today?
Please share some funnies here too (memes, videos, signs, etc.)
If any or all of this speaks to you, please share.
Aloha🌺,
Denise
We’re all in this together.
