The new year came in with blasts, cheers, toasts, photos, and wishes. I am a very HAPPY MOM and WIFE, surrounded by my favorite people, Mark, Emily, and Tara. We had dinner on the sofa, watched movies, and said, “Happy New Year” to each other in person for the first time since 2013.
This past week has been wonderful: sightseeing in the city, eating at home and in our fav restaurants, and sitting together around the living room.
I’m thankful, grateful, and oh-so-blessed. This Empty Nester Mom’s heart is full.
