To all who this applies: happy new school/academic year! That applies to parents, teachers, admins, librarians, custodians, maintenance, bus drivers, crossing guards, and any and all of the behind-the-scenes staff.
I’m happy to report that from here, Dallas, TX, the school year begins on a sunny, 82ºF day. So, get out and swing, run, tag, and study under a tree. My vibe is for a wonderful, safe, healthy year.
And for you who are not in school, watch for the kids playing and walking and enjoy the calmer grocery stores*. Memories of school years came flooding back to my mind today. I miss those days and am grateful for this Empty Nester life.
