A “Harvest time” invitation means there’s basil pesto in my future!
Our dear darling friend Beth grows basil. Beth loves to share. Beth invited me over to ‘harvest’ her basil and then make basil pesto. How could I say, “No.” I can’t.
I walked over to her place in the 101ºF day to gently cut the largest, greenest leaves, fill the 2-cup vessel, add the rest of the ingredients, and voila, in minutes we had gorgeous, fragrant basil pesto! What a treat!! Thank you, Beth.
Go out and harvest something today!
