Friday’s walk lead us to our finale at the world-famous Rodeo Bar, on the ground floor of the Adolphus Hotel, in Downtown Dallas. There, we saw our friend & manager, James; met new bartenders Mika and Josh, and the new barback, Zachary. We laughed and told stories, and met Victor, a visitor to Dallas from Warsaw, Poland. Victor was spending his flight delay time alongside us at the bar. His flight to Poland, via London, was weather delayed. We turned his delay into delight!!
He taught us the two most important words in Polish: “Hi” and “Thank you.” If our paths cross, I intend to show him what a great teacher he is!! Safe travels, Victor!
