New season: my friends in Alaska have just seen (and experienced) the first snowfall! My friends in AUS are enjoying summer sports and sunshine. Here in Dallas, we’re under cloud cover this morning and an outside temp of 76ºF!! Fall is upon us.
New goals: I will keep playing Pickleball with the new friends I’ve made and celebrate my progress, however slow it seems. I will not give up! I welcome the soreness, not so much the pulled muscles, and the bruises. I will let go of my thoughts about how I played this week, and focus on future games and skills. Playing with people who are more experienced than me makes me better, on and off the court.
Great reminders:
I will never give up: I set a goal and will achieve it. Of course, having a support system and encouragement helps tremendously. I’m here for you too!
