My NBD list is growing: yesterday, I perused a longhorn cattle sale of mommas and calves. It’s a sweet sight to see a HUGE momma longhorn protect her baby from onlookers. Each corral had a female longhorn for sale with its listing on the gate: date of birth, sire and dam’s names, and the originating ranch. I asked a few questions of a passerby and learned many things about this type of animal and sale.
