“People are faces until they are your friends.” By saying “hi” or “nice outfit” or “cute dog/cat” you open the conversation for a future. At least that’s my thought.
You never know when a “hello” will turn in to a long-lasting, true, life-enriching friendship, of this, I know for sure. Proof in my life: Fadia, Toni & Eddie, Mary, Jennifer, Jeanne, Mary, and Michelle, to name a few.

Like-minded people are our tribe.
In the words of motivational speaker Jim Rohn:
“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
I choose to spend my time with FUN, funny, intelligent, adventurous, creative and generous people.
As Darren Hardy writes in The Compound Effect:
“According to research by social psychologist Dr. David McClelland of Harvard, [the people you habitually associate with] determine as much as 95 percent of your success or failure in life.”
As I reflect on my past, my latest trips, and my upcoming adventures, I am reminded of the extraordinary people in my life. I’m off on another FUN adventure this afternoon…this time to see dear friends, Kym and Will, whom I met while living in Abu Dhabi. It was my daughter who met their sons and began that friendship. I’m forever grateful for her “hello.”
Road Trip Wednesday + Have FUN every day + Adventure awaits = me!
Aloha🌺,
Denise
