Old circle and new circle

When I was a child, swimming at my grandmothers’ pool, I could look up over the fence and see a church steeple with a white clock. In the middle of the clock was the saying, “night cometh.”  I saw that clock as I sat in the back seat of the car and memories of my grandmothers washed over me.

As the evening began, the “new moon” appeared in the sky: big and bold. Darkness seemed to ignite the moon and the new (super) moon was high in the sky (man and all) shining down on me.

Memories are valuable gifts. What are you memories of today?
