Home is sweet home.

I have returned from my mainland trip. I enjoyed seeing my Agel family, experiencing the Agel Cares Walk of Hope, loving the new products and kibbitzing with my friends.

Then I went to Dallas, TX to see my family. I am oh so grateful for each of them. My dad continues to recover from his heart surgery and stroke. While I was there, his progress improved so he moved from the intensive care unit to the critical care unit and on the day I left, he moved into the rehabilitation unit.

My fabulous brother and sis-in-law hosted a Labor Day dinner at which I went back for three helpings of their homemade brisket. They are strong, generous and loving people who I am SO blessed to have as my family.

I dined with my in-laws at my favorite Italian restaurant, Prego. We sat for a long time laughing, talking and reminiscing. God truly blessed me with them!! They are superb!

Now I am home, where my heart lives. Greeted at the airport by my Mark, my heart skipped a beat. I am so in love with him and grateful to spend my life in his company. He held down our fort and eliminated my worry so I could focus on my tasks. Our daughters make my heart sing! They, too, greeted me with hugs and smiles. They missed me. I missed them too.

I awoke to the ocean breezes, the sounds of the city and fresh brewed Kona coffee. There really is no place like home.

Aloha,
Denise
