Scrolling through some old photos and realizing the common theme: my friends are the family I’ve chosen. I call them my FRAMILY. Over the past forty years, I’ve befriended some phenomenal people. I’ve stayed in touch with my FRAMILY from the five U.S. states and the UAE city, where I’ve lived.
I enjoy seeing those friends at reunions, when they visit my city, and/or if I travel to see them. My heart is so happy when I think of all the love they share with me.
Today, my Pro Tip is to check in with old friends. Find them on social media and reach out. Tell them Happy Birthday or Happy Spring! 🗣️Shoutouts to my CA friend Carole who sent me a Happy Easter card in lieu of a Christmas card; and BALT friend Damye and CA friend Karen who celebrated birthdays this week. Those long-lasting, joyful friendships enrich my FUN life.
Find a coffee shop and connect with an old friend. Then, let me know how that turned out. I’ll do the same.
