RTT (Road Trip Tuesday or Thursday)🚙 revs up again. Driving 4.5 hours south to the lovely, historic city of San Antonio, we reunioned with our son-in-law, who was there for a work conference. Whilst he was on the mainland, we had to see him. NOTE: The last time we saw him was October 2021; and he and our eldest daughter were married in November 2021.
We were greeted by him with strong, warm hugs AND goodies from our former island home.
We strolled along the Riverwalk until we found the perfect spot to sit, talk story, and people watch. Our visit continued to the 20th floor of the brand-new Thompson Hotel’s restaurant The Moon’s Daugher, for our dinner. Amazing, creative food with the backdrop of the sunset over San Antonio. The evening was perfect.
One of my favorite things to do is reunion with special people is. It reminds me how rich my life is and how full my heart can be with extraordinary people in it.
