Learnings ( new topic to be explored and shared)

Learnings. That’s what I’m calling the essential, or at least preferable, things I’ve learned from my two months of being a nomad.

1. I love low humidity. The weather here in Denver is crisp and cool (51°F) in the morning (as of this writing). It is too cold for me to sit on the balcony to write, but a bit later it’ll be perfect. The low humidity makes it not too cold for my cold-averse self. Same for evenings.

2. 7th floor. When I lived in downtown Dallas (in apt 702, 2022-2024 in a 1957-built building), I loved seeing the buildings, the cars, the people, and the “parades” from our windows. It was not too high to see the happenings, and not too low to hear all the street noise. It’s the perfect (for me) height for living. That brings me to this accommodation: apt 707 of an 18 floor, circa 1967 building. It’s perfect to see the trees, the evening historical tours, and be on the balcony nightly to see the sunsets and moon rises.

3. Sunshine in the mornings. I love love love opening the blinds to the bright, clear, sunshiny mornings!! That brings joy to my heart and big smiles to my face.

As I progress in my nomad explorations, I’m certain the list will grow. I hope this helps you, dear readers, create your own list of Learnings.

Aloha,

Denise
