As I sit at my desk, typing this composition, the heavens have opened up and the rain is pelting the streets below me. Yesterday, the sun was bright and hot; the skies were pure blue; the winds were non-existent. Oh, what a difference a day makes.
I welcome the rain as sustenance for the flowers, trees, and flowering trees. With regard to outdoor activities: I sigh heavily and frown. No playing pickleball today, no bike riding, no long walks, and no sitting outside reading. Yet soon, the daffodils, crocus, and tulips will erupt from their winter homes and flood us with color. Always find the good in each day!!
Oh, joy!! The rain has stopped. Time to go out and sieze this day!! How did RWE know???
Therefore, I say, “Bring it on!!!” Let’s find FUN things to do on this day. After all, we won’t melt.
