It’s hump day! Wednesday first came to be known as hump day in the 1950s. The expression figures Wednesday, the middle of the workweek, as the hump people get over to coast into the weekend. And so, since the 1980s coworkers have wished one another “Happy Hump Day!” in acknowledgment that day-to-day work can be FUN and so can planning the weekend. Here are some humps:
All kidding aside, here are three (3) things you and I can do on this hump day:
- Play a game (cards, puzzles, boards, scavenger hunts),
- Take a walk and go in the opposite direction than yesterday’s walk,
- Listen to different music during tonight’s Kitchen Dance Party.
Have FUN mixing it all up today.
Texts are sweet and thoughtful and lovely. A hand-written note or letter is classic. Calls are also excellent for keeping in touch. As you come down from the high of Valentine’s Day, regard your flowers, texts, calls, notes, cards, and gifts for their true gifts: Love-filled wishes for more love.
Aloha🌺,
