Many people will walk in and out of your life; the true friends stay and leave footprints in your heart.
Monday I got to play Pickleball with ladies I enjoy, then catch up with my Austin friend, Debbie; we talked story for three (3) hours.
Tuesday I got to have lunch with my Tara and Beth and my 87-yr old mom, then for four (4) hours, I prattled with St. Louis Toni.
Wednesday is still friend-pend(ing).
Thursday, I’ll watch and root for Toni in the World Food Championships at Fair Park, then ‘game night’ with Adrienne and her friends, who I hope will become my friends too.
Friday is still open for FUN plans.
Saturday, my St. Louis Kathleen comes in for a visit, we’ll chat for hours, I’m certain.
My heart is full and effervescent…I love seeing my friends from far away when their travels bring them to Dallas. My pro tip: stay connected to your friends. Great friends are the gifts you give yourself. They enrich your life and keep your mind sharp, your style up-to-date, and your spirit sparkling. Hunt those extraordinary relationships and nurture them. You’ll be glad you did.
Friendship is not about who you’ve known the longest; it’s about who walked into your life and stayed.
