The quote at the bottom of this post, by the colorful Hunter S. Thompson, resonates with me because I like to have FUN daily. I strive to complete an NDB every day. I attempt to learn something new regularly. I aim to be a better person routinely.
I also ascribe to the many-time 1894 repeatable and oft’ interchangeable quote, “Some days you get the bear; some days the bear gets me.” ——> Never Give Up.
Over the sunny weekend, my HH and I played pickleball together. Then we were invited to play with another couple (our kids’ ages), which went well, even though my sweetie growled his displeasure. He’s been on a court two (2) times in his short life!! We had FUN and each of us improved incrementally.
We can’t be kept inside when the sky is this blue, the trees are this green, there’s water, and there’s a community art fair. Pro Tip: check out social media and local parks’ websites for upcoming fairs and festivals. HINT: The Texas State fair has begun! The blog post of that is forthcoming.
