My Tara came to Dallas for an evening event and built-in Momma time earlier in the day. What to do? It’s raining, slippery, and gloomy ~ time to put on my “Find FUN” hat. So we took a walk around the neighborhood and entered my fav hot spot: Lit Kitchen & Lounge, an NDB for Tara. (https://www.litdtx.com)
We arrived in time for Happy Hour and to chat with a new bartender, Will, and Stef, who is visiting from Boston to work behind the scenes at Lit. Both men were charming and chatty. Then my fav bartender, Sez, arrived along with Chef Jimmy and SMUCharles~ the gang is back together! Tara was treated to hugs, photos, and gifts.
After several hours, we walked back home for her to continue her Dallas Day at her fav dance spot, Cowboys Red River (https://www.cowboysdancehall.com).
We turned a grey day into a FUN red day! We turned talking to only each other into talking with new friends. We made the most out of our Friday afternoon and made it fabulous!
