Changes in a matter of minutes and days

As Mark Twain said, “If you don’t like New England weather, wait a few minutes.” As someone has so aptly put it: “If you don’t like the present brand of Nebraska (insert your city here) weather just wait fifteen minutes and there will be a different kind of weather.

I’ll insert Dallas, TX. We experienced two days of heavy then light rains. Some smaller cities and towns experienced horrific flooding. Here in Downtown Dallas, we watched the rains come in, drench the streets, then roll out. We had no flooding or damage.

The Trinity River, about a mile from where we live, however, did flood! The levee is a muddy mess and the water spilled over the ground in many places along the trail. The good outcome: dramatic photos.

Today, it’s sunny and warm, with clear blue skies. Dallas delights like that!

Wherever you are in the world, enjoy your day! If you don’t like the weather, wait a bit…it’ll probably change to suit you. Go out and enjoy what you have!!
