The margarita festival is upon us in Dallas, TX. Did you know… the frozen margarita was invented right here in Dallas, TX!? In 1971 a refurbished soft-serve machine was used to create the world’s first frozen margarita.
I choose to create FUN out of most situations (Mom’s in memory care and only goes out w/my husband and me) so we (she and I) (weekly) have cocktails with lunch. It makes her smile, so I’ll keep doing it! Cheers to us all who are parenting aging parents. NOTE: she’s 86 years FUN.
Margaritas and mothers go well together. She gave me my first glimpse into Empty Nester life, and I honor her, this life, and all who share it. I’m determined to have FUN every day and inspire others to find FUN in life too. Cheers!
