After two years, four failed attempts to secure a hair salon/stylist I can go to repeatedly, and six phone calls this morning to secure a haircut and color, I found a salon with a nice phone answerer person, within my budget, within my city limits, who have stylists that cut curly hair, and who can do my hair this week. Jeez, why has this been so difficult!? It’s an absolute hair-raising experience!!
Moving to a new place includes finding all sorts of honest, reliable services: grocers, dry cleaners, car repairs, and hair salons. Getting personal referrals is best, but not always suitable. I appreciate the few recommendations I’ve received from friends, but none have suited my personality, time constraints, or budget. Fear not: slow and steady win the race. Tip: Keep searching and asking questions. Keep hunting for the Good Stuff.
