I was unpacking my bathroom items and trying to contain them on the counter, in a reasonably organized and tidy fashion. I have more space than I have ever had, so the prospects of ‘crap-on-the-counter-overload’ was troublesome. I found a solution.
I was hunting around for containers to contain my stuff and, lo and behold, I found the perfect dishes: a glass dish, oblong in shape, low clearance, and the perfect size for my make-up, and a small, shallow bowl for my lipsticks. I’m delighted with the bathroom counter now.
Additionally, I needed to corral my toothbrush & toothpaste (empty at this writing), so I refashioned this vase into my holder:
Just as Plato famously wrote: “Our need will be the real creator,” or more commonly thought, “necessity is the mother of invention.” I’m with Plato!! Living in different accommodations gets my creative juices flowing.
There are many more wondrous things to explore and refashion. I am primed and ready for more.
