I celebrated International Women’s Day with my Mom, my #2 daughter, and two lovely women who Mom and I met on February 1st at this same location, the Lazy Dog. (https://www.lazydogrestaurants.com/locations/addison-tx?utm_source=extnet&utm_medium=yext)

We met at the restaurant, ordered, laughed, told stories, ate, laughed some more, then planned our next lunch. We are all strong, independent women paving our paths in life.

Our history: I owned my own personal training business for several years then became the CHO of our household, a title I hold and treasure today. My mom was a businesswoman for ~50 years, owning her own successful advertising specialties business. My #2 daughter, Tara, is a commercial/industrial plumber/pipefitter apprentice and second-year student in Trade School. Pam was a flight attendant for American Airlines and Cheryl owned her own Farmers Insurance agency.
Gentle reminder: just say “hello!” and “people are faces until they’re your friends.”
Cheers to the fabulous women in my life!
Aloha🌺,
Denise
