Wonderful discovery

We stopped half way from Dallas to Denver, in Amarillo, TX. It’s a great city with (now) two of my favs: Longhorn Steakhouse and (our newest discovery) Drury Inn.

Yes, we dined at LSH and loved it!!!

I remember seeing the Drury Inn when we lived in St. Charles Missouri, yet we never stayed there. Last night was our first experience at the Drury Inn and, let me tell you, it was wonderful. We were greeted, we were seated, and we were completely blown away by the people working and staying here!! Everyone I chatted with was great!!!

This hotel is a non-smoking facility, making my stay even better. The rooms are cleverly appointed, very comfortable, and the best for us: dark and quiet. We decided to join their “frequent flyer” club and we will stay at Drury Inns as much as we can, as we travel.

Drury Inn is wholly owned by the Drury family, and is headquartered in metropolitan St. Louis, Missouri. Creve Coeur, Missouri, U.S.  As of 2022, the chain operates more than 150 locations in 26 states.

Time to hit the road to Denver, where I’ll be enjoying the cool weather, some family, and some geneology. Tips and tricks welcome.
