Then: January 27, 2015
I trained heavily to walk 140km (87 miles) in the desert from Al Ain to Abu Dhabi. I successfully completed that goal, along with these lovely women. We were from over a dozen countries, spoke countless languages, and all loved desert walking. These are my Sand Sisters. We have a bond and connection that will last a lifetime. Yesterday: January 26, 2022
I looked up at the clear, blue sky with gratitude. The sun shone through this tree and kissed my face. I love sunny days. It makes errands so joyful.
Today: January 27, 2022
I will again look up and look around with gratitude and appreciation. I have my mammogram today so GOOD VIBES ONLY.
